St. Wolf wins People’s Choice for Favorite Group Artist at Awit Awards 2020
The boys of St. Wolf take home the People’s Choice for Favorite Group Artist at the 33rd Awit Awards, held last August 29. Winners were announced online via livestream on Awit Awards’ official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
St. Wolf was finalists in two other categories: Best Rock Alternative Recording and Best Performance By A Group – both for their hit single “Sana.”
Congratulations as well to EJ De Perio, Keiko Necesario, Three Legged Men, Mikee Misalucha and Asch for making it as finalists in their own respective categories.
The Awit Awards is given by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) to recognize and celebrate the best talents in the Philippine recording industry today. It is one of the most respected and longest-running music awards in the Philippines.
Miaow and Marc Abaya release ‘Dissent’
“Dissent” is a collaboration of Miaow and Marc Abaya: Miaow is a DJ/Producer while Marc Abaya is the former member of Sandwich and the front man of Kjwan. Their collaboration illustrates today’s situation with its thought-provoking lyrics under heavy rock tones. “Dissent” is a unique and experimental fusion of Rock and EDM, matched with distorted vocals, RATM-like lyricism, and dubstep beats.

Keiko Necesario and Gloc-9 for Taiwan Excellence
Keiko and Gloc-9 teams up on an original song for Taiwan Excellence’s #EverydayExcellence campaign. Taiwan Excellence represents Taiwan’s progress and ingenuity in product and technological innovations. Their song collab is made to impart these same values and inspire excellence in everyone.
Participating brands include Acer Philippines, Asus, Transcend Philippines and a lot more.
